The First Aid Industry Body – our accreditation…
The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) will only accept Training Providers and
consequently Trainers/Assessors who work to the FAIB standards (which
are at the very least equal to that of the HSE guidance GEIS 3).
The FAIB Quality Management System holds 3rd Party Certification via a
United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) Accredited Certification Body.
It operates under the standards required for ISO 9001 (2015).
The FAIB are one of the founding members of the First Aid Quality
Partnership (FAQP), a body that includes representation from HSE, the
Resuscitation Council (UK), the Voluntary Aid Societies and representation
from OFQUAL and SQA as well as Fire, Police and Ambulance. The FAQP
publishes recommended Quality Assurance standards for Training Providers
to follow.
Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
A three day first aid at work course is for those who will be providing first aid in the workplace or have the responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary or community activities. Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
